Who We Are
Built in 1838, Old Town Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Town. It served as the center of the Town's government from 1856 until the late 1950's. The building is now the home of the Bridgewater Historical Society (BHS).
Beginning in April 2025, the Town has partnered with BHS to tell the stories of how Bridgewater came to be the community it is today through Story Realms. The first two Story Realms present the role Old Town Hall itself played in the history of Bridgewater and share the tale of the development of the Bridgewater Retirement Community which is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
Old Town Hall (109 South Main Street) is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
