Training and full semester commitment required. Most tours are weekday mornings. Busiest seasons are mid-Sept through mid-November and March through May. (Availability in May is especially helpful.) Education volunteers: Needed year-round for programs & workshops, and special events such as Harvest Fest in October, Watershed Experiences in spring and fall, and Summer Camp sessions. Family Garden Hosts: Two-hour shifts staffing an Activity Cart in the Family Garden area. Share additional educational materials to with families and groups. Available year-round in good weather. Interpretive Internships: Requires a minimum 50 hrs/semester commitment and 3-4 hrs/wk during peak tour season. Internships are unpaid but may be eligible for credit with faculty approval.
