Volunteer: Program Assistant with Heritage Center (marketing, field trip support, historical research, museum exhibit design)

There are a variety of tasks that a student could work on as part of their time at the Heritage Center, depending on their interests. These include, but are not limited to: administrative tasks (mail pickup/dropoff, bank deposits, reviewing and organizing files, etc.), developing marketing materials (posters, pamphlets, etc.), website design and revision, assisting with elementary school fieldtrips (setup, or as a guide/presenter), tour guiding, artifact cataloging and organization, library cataloging and organization, historical research and data entry, museum exhibit design and construction, grounds maintenance, landscaping. There’s a large diversity of work to be done here, and we envision this position to be very flexible!
