Do you enjoy working with people? As a Blood Donor Ambassador volunteer, you will engage donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table. The special attention volunteers give helps create a favorable impression that encourages ongoing donor support. The Red Cross provides training on all our systems, and staff are available to lend a hand and answer questions.
- Requirements
- One 4-6-hour shift per month for six months/Shifts available from 11 to 3/3 to 7 at the Neff Avenue Location
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable approaching people you do not know
- Ability to follow safety protocols and directions consistently and thoroughly
