Become a Big!

Looking for a way to make a difference in our community and have fun? Help ignite the power and promise of a local youth by becoming a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Youth matched with a Big improve academically, make better decisions and feel better about themselves!

Community Based Mentors:
-Meet with a youth (Aged 6 through 14) for 1 hour 2-4 times a month outside of school hours 
-Have fun doing “No/Low Cost Activities”- Go to the park, bake cookies, attend a local sporting event, attend a Big Brothers Big Sisters match event, or just hang out. The possibilities are endless!

Volunteers must:
-Be 18 years or older and be able to provide transportation for themselves and their mentee
-Commit to being matched with a youth for 3 semesters
-Participate in an interview and orientation
-Pass background checks
