Love art? Love making a difference? The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham is looking for creative and compassionate volunteers to join us at Horizon Gifts located downtown from 10AM to 12PM on Tuesdays!
This unique opportunity allows volunteers to connect with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the power of art—helping them express themselves and develop their creativity in a fun, supportive environment.
Create alongside our participants, guiding them through various art projects. Assist with setting up and organizing materials for hands-on sessions. Encourage self-expression and confidence through artistic exploration and build meaningful connections in a welcoming and inclusive space!
Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM at The Arc of HR before heading out to Horizon Gifts to ensure a smooth start to the day!
