Volunteer Music Instructor – Brass & Percussion
Inspire the next generation through the power of music!
We are seeking passionate and patient volunteers to help teach brass and percussion instruments to children and teens ages 7–17. Most students are beginners, and your guidance could be the start of a lifelong love for music.
Program Details:
- When: Thursday evenings, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Who: Children and youth ages 7–17
- Focus: Brass and percussion instruments (beginners welcome)
- Format: Individual and group instruction
Volunteer Role:
- Provide basic instruction in brass or percussion instruments
- Lead both one-on-one and group lessons
- Help students learn fundamentals such as rhythm, tone, and musical expression
- Work with students to build confidence, discipline, and teamwork through music
- Help plan lessons and adapt instruction based on the needs and skill levels of the group
