Volunteer: Gus Bus K-5th Grade In-Home Tutor (Spring 2026)

The Gus Bus is seeking volunteers to tutor elementary school students in Harrisonburg City!

To volunteer with us you must:

Complete a background check (paid for by the Gus Bus) Commit to tutoring two, 1-hour sessions per week Have your own transportation to and from the child’s home Commit to tutoring for the full semester
