Volunteer: Hotline Volunteers NeededNew Directions Center is a non-profit organization working to reduce the impact of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through survivor-centered advocacy, support services, community education, and awareness. New Directions Center is currently seeking volunteers to answer our crisis hotline. This is a remote opportunity and is great for those looking to make a big impact with a small time commitment. Schedules are for 4 hours, Mon-Fri from 8am to 12pm and 12pm-4pm. Volunteers are welcome to work as many or as few shifts as they like. Training for the hotline is 20 hours, including your hotline assessment and all training is also done remotely.

The volunteer will perform a variety of office activities including answering the hotline, greeting incoming clients, and assisting with light clerical work including copying, filing, data entry and other duties as necessary.
