Young Adults Rise (YAR) is looking for someone to create a website for the program. YAR is an outreach mission specifically designed to help twentysomethings, an age group that has the highest rate of depression, anxiety, and loneliness of any age group in the United States. Their struggles have led to an epidemic of mental illness. YAR supports this age group in the Shenandoah Valley with speakers, peer discussion, tools, and social opportunities to build life skills, identify a purpose, and build durable relationships and a supportive community.

Young Adults Rise is looking for someone to facilitate the program for twentysomethings in Harrisonburg. A detailed curriculum and tools are provided for the facilitator, so there is limited preparation time needed. The group will be no more than 15 people. We are looking for someone in a mental health program who may want to study this program as part of their advanced studies. The facilitator should be a good listener, empathetic, willing to accept people where there are, be able to move conversation along while making sure all viewpoints are heard.
