Volunteer: Stone Spring Elementary School Trail WorkThis Saturday, April 11th from 9-noon, Public Works will be hosting their arbor day tree planting at Stone Spring Elementary's Nature Trail. We will be in need of help with trail work and planting. Tasks will include delivering and spreading mulch, using hand saws and pruners to trim back overgrowth and establish a trail, digging up to remove invasive plants, and planting shrubs and trees. Please come with closed toes shoes and long pants. You will be getting your hands dirty! *Please park in the front parking lot and walk to the right of the school, past the playground and up the forested hill near the gravel road to the right. We will be meeting in the trails up the hill.
