In addition to the support of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and JMU Dining Services, The Pantry is also generously funded by monetary donations from JMU Dukes past and present, as well as community members Donate here.
OTHER IMPORTANT RESOURCES
Meal Vouchers: JMU Dining Services and The Pantry have partnered to provide meal vouchers to food insecure students. Vouchers are limited and prioritized for students who lack access to food preparation and storage and are experiencing food insecurity.
If you are experiencing food insecurity, complete this Meal Voucher Request Form Not all students who request vouchers will receive them. We also encourage students to utilize The Pantry for a more consistent supply of food.
SNAP:
- SNAP provides food assistance to qualified participants.
- Funds are loaded onto an EBT card each month.

SHELF'D:
The Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry has a grab-and-go food pantry called Students Helping Every Last Fellow Duke. It's open to all JMU students and is located at 622 S. Main St.
To access SHELF’D, go to the back of the building and take the sidewalk down the right side. The pantry is through the second door that is always open.
SHELF'D strives to offer a stigma-free gateway to nutrition for anyone who feels they do not have enough nutritional food to eat. If you are hungry, you are welcome. No exceptions, no questions asked.
