Vijana Africa

Vijana Africa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, conflict transformation, and sustainable development across the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, and the United States. Rooted in the belief that every individual possesses unique gifts capable of driving transformative change, we empower communities through entrepreneurship, education, and civic engagement, aiming to create a more just and peaceful world.

At Vijana Africa, we tackle conflict minerals in the DRC through advocacy for supply chain transparency and alternative livelihoods. Our flagship initiative, the Mobile School Project, brings education to children aged 5-15 in displacement camps, fostering hope and learning for displaced families. Additionally, we provide economic empowerment programs for women and youth, deliver entrepreneurship training, and support community-driven solutions. These multifaceted efforts create sustainable pathways out of poverty and conflict, transforming lives and promoting long-term peace.
