Anicira

  • Reduced Inequalities-- SDG #10

Who We Are

Anicira is a nonprofit veterinary organization committed to ending animal suffering by improving access to care. We believe pets are family and deserve to stay with the people who love them—regardless of financial circumstances. Each year, we provide thousands of animals with free veterinary services and pet food. Our work is grounded in compassion, community, and excellence. From routine wellness visits to complex surgeries, we treat every pet with love, dignity, and respect. Spay/neuter, including TNR, has been central to our mission from day one and continues to be a key part of reducing shelter overpopulation. We uphold the highest standards of care to ensure every pet’s safety and comfort. Since opening, we’ve served over 300,000 dogs and cats, including large and small feral cat colonies. We partner with a wide range of animal welfare organizations to reduce unnecessary euthanasia and help animals live happy, healthy lives.

What We Do

Anicira offers comprehensive veterinary care that is high-quality, compassionate, and accessible to our community. Services include spay/neuter surgeries, soft tissue surgeries, dentistry procedures, and sick and well appointments. Additionally, Anicira offers a twice-monthly free Pet Food Pantry to ensure that no family pet goes hungry in the community we serve.
