Who We Are
Located in Staunton, Virginia, the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library & Museum serves as a dynamic educational institution dedicated to exploring the life and legacy of the 28th President of the United States. The institution encompasses the restored Greek Revival home known as the Manse, where Wilson was born in 1856, and a museum featuring seven galleries that delve into his presidency and the historical context of his era.
Visitors can engage with exhibits covering topics such as women's suffrage, domestic reform, segregation, and World War I. Notable artifacts include Wilson's 1919 Pierce-Arrow presidential limousine and an immersive World War I trench exhibit . The library also offers educational programs, research opportunities, and community events that foster a deeper understanding of Wilson's complex legacy and its contemporary relevance.
