Augusta Harvest Market at The Alpine Goat is a community-driven market dedicated to providing fresh, locally sourced produce, artisanal goods, and handcrafted products. Our mission is to support local farmers, producers, and makers while offering a fun, welcoming space for people to connect and shop sustainably.

From farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to homemade baked goods, pasture-raised meats, and unique handmade products, our market celebrates the best of the Valley.
Whether you come for your weekly groceries or just to enjoy the atmosphere, we aim to provide the perfect place to gather, shop, and support local farms and small businesses.

Some programs that we are interested in starting with JMU‘s help are different kinds of Children’s activities. We currently offer a kid zone where we do free kids activities such as making paper plate masks or rock painting and play dough fun. We also bring in local   characters, such as Staunton’s Spider-Man or vendors that do kids activities from around the area(Balloon animals etc). This is all paid for with sponsorship funds. I would love to have a student or 2 come and help us run the kidzone tent and help organize some more educational STEM/STEAM based things! I am also interested in starting some educational food programs where we can use food from our local farmers that vend at the market and do demonstrations. Showing people how to do more with our local food would be an amazing thing.
