Indian Cultural Immersion Experience: Traditions, Food, and Celebration
You are invited to participate in an immersive cultural experience centered on traditional Asian Indian celebration customs, hospitality practices, and ceremonial traditions. This opportunity allows you to observe and engage with authentic cultural practices including traditional dress, music, rituals, and regional cuisine while supporting the logistics of a multi-day cultural gathering.
Volunteer responsibilities
Volunteers will assist with event preparation and hospitality tasks. Responsibilities may include:
• Helping with light event setup and decorative arrangements
• Assisting with food service and hospitality for guests
• Supporting coordination of activity areas and guest flow
• Helping maintain organization of materials and cultural displays
• General assistance to ensure events run smoothly
Time commitment
Volunteers should be available during the following windows across the event dates:
June 19–21, 2026
• Morning shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Afternoon/evening shift: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Students may volunteer for one or multiple shifts.

What volunteers receive

Who should volunteer
Students interested in global cultures, hospitality, anthropology, international studies, or community engagement are especially encouraged to participate. No prior cultural knowledge is required—only curiosity, respect, and willingness to help.
