Volunteer Duties:
Supervise and Maintain Exhibits: We want to ensure that every visitor has a positive experience. Our volunteers keep our exhibit galleries in top form by supervising, restocking supplies, and making sure the museum is always clean and safe.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: With many visitors throughout the week, we work to provide cleaning at the highest level possible. Volunteers will be sanitizing and wiping down exhibit areas as the museum is open for play to keep our visitors as safe as possible.
Prepare Materials / Supplies for Special Events: The museum offers a wide range of programs and special events. Volunteers assist in a variety of ways, such as assembling packets and mailings, preparing field trip materials, decorating for birthday parties, and more.
Setting up a schedule:
- Once you respond to the opportunity, the volunteer coordinator will reach out and set up an orientation time where you will get a tour of the museum, discuss future scheduling and other important details.
