Support refugee and immigrant families with school aged children so that they can best succeed academically in the United States. Students will have from zero to basic understanding of the English language. Most parents do not speak English and cannot support students in their learning process.
School tutors are expected to meet twice a week for the length of one hour per session. Preferably able to commit volunteering through the end of the spring semester. According to your preference, you are able to tutor siblings instead of one child for the whole semester. Schedule is anytime between 4pm and 8pm from Monday to Friday.
