We are looking for creative minds to help launch a public outreach program. You can illustrate, animate, write, dance, we don't care! But we want to reach new audiences for bat conservation. Bats are diverse and conservation should be too!
Volunteers will work toward developing a program highlighting bats' contribution to agriculture. Volunteers can expect to interface with local outreach agricultural organizations to research needs, develop outreach materials for the general community, help at outreach events, and develop relationships with local farmers' markets to install/display materials.
We are open to creative ideas, and you don't have to be anywhere at any particular time at share a love of bats. OK, there might be a few deadlines as opportunities arise, but we promise not too many.
HOURS: We are very flexible but we would like to see our volunteers at least weekly. Hours can be any time from noon until 6 pm.
LOCATION: This is a hybrid project with some time spent at the headquarters and other hours spent in self-directed action or outreach events.
